CAT (Certified Accounting Technician)
Courses
The CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) qualification is offered by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The ACCA is the world's largest international accounting body with in excess of 100,000 members.
The CAT qualification is split into 10 Examination Papers. In order to qualify as a Certified Accounting Technician, students must complete 9 of the examination papers and a Technician Training Record (TTR). Distance Learning Centre offers 9 courses for the first 9 examination papers and at this point has no plans to offer paper 10.

Foundations Level:

Papers 1 and 2 are described by ACCA as foundation and are level 2 qualifications (Equivalent to A-C Grade GCSE) on the new National Qualification Framework.
