PLEASE NOTE - MCAS (Microsoft Certified Application Specialist) Certification has recently been re-branded as MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Certification.
Here is an extract from the Certiport Website explaining the change:
As of June 2, 2010, in English-speaking countries globally, MCAS was formally renamed Microsoft Office Specialist 2007 (MOS 2007).
Recent analysis sponsored by Microsoft and Certiport on market recognition of the MCAS program name unequivocally demonstrated that the "MOS" brand is significantly more recognizable by certification candidates and possesses substantially stronger brand equity than "MCAS."
Nothing within the syllabus has changed and it is simply a re-branding exercise to a more popular name. If you have gained or are working towards Certification you will now be certified as MOS rather than MCAS.
