AS/A2 Level Courses
Full A levels are divided into two halves or “AS & A2 Levels”. An AS Level or A2 Level is only one half of a full A Level and if you want to complete the full A Level qualification it is recommended that you study a full A level course as this can be spread over multiple exam windows and will reduce the price of your study. AS and A2 will each consist of two units and each unit leads to a corresponding exam.
PLEASE NOTE: We strongly advise that candidates Click here to read the A Level FAQ which explains in detail about how the courses work, possible exam dates and procedures for allocating exam centres. When you order online you will be sent an email with a link to a PDF file which needs to be filled in and returned before we process your application.
ORDER PROCESS:
After you order your course via the website we will send an email with a PDF file that needs to be printed off, filled in, signed and returned. We will not process any payment or your application until that form is returned to us. Once returned a course advisor will call you to go over the important information about study and exams and arrange the delivery of your course materials. We do not recommend students take on more than 2 AS or A2 Level courses at any time and all applications are subject to acceptance from our course advisory team.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
You can start an A Level course at any time but you can only sit your examination in an appropriate examination window.
-
We will only admit students for A Levels who have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C and above or equivalent qualifications. These would ideally include English and Maths.
-
All A Level examinations have to be sat in the UK.
-
Please Note: we cannot accept students under the age of 16 on GCSE or A Level courses
You can sign up for a course at any time although we do have closing dates for each exam window. The closing date for students aiming for the May/June 2013 exam window has now passed and due to recent awarding body changes it is only possible to sit A Level exams in the summer exam windows so the nearest exam window that our students can aim for is May/June 2014.
We usually recommend that students sit an A Level over a 2 year period. It is possible to complete in 1 year although this would require committing to approximately 700 hours of study and sitting both AS and A2 examinations in the same exam window.
