Counselling & Psychology Courses
Distance Learning Centre have numerous counselling and psychology courses which are perfect for those wishing to gain an understanding of psychology or the role of a counsellor.
All the courses have paper based course materials and can be delivered to you within one to two working days. Most of the courses have no pre requirements for entry but there are some that require you to have achieved certain qualifications. Please check the individual courses for more details.
The courses require an initial payment between £100 and £155 with further payments of £50 to £65. This enables you to spread the payment for the course over four months.
The total price for a counselling and psychology course will be between £250 and £350 and the approximate study time will range between 80 and 360 hours.
As well as the paper based courses you can take our psychology online course. This course will entail 360 hours of self study and will cost £300 with an initial fee of £150 with further monthly payments of £50 for the next three months.
Students may register at any time and have a full year to complete their studies. You also have access to a personal tutor by mail or email for a 12 month period. As the child care courses are self study you can complete in as little or as long a time as you prefer.
The awards are issued through NCFE. NCFE is recognised as an awarding body by the qualification regulators ('regulators') for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.
