Counselling & Psychology Courses
Distance Learning Centre have numerous Counselling and Psychology courses which are perfect for those wishing to gain an understanding of psychology or the role of a counsellor.
All the courses have paper based course materials and can be delivered to you within one to two working days. Most of the courses have no pre requirements for entry but there are some that require you to have achieved certain qualifications. Please check the individual courses for more details. As well as the paper based courses you can take our psychology online course. This course will entail 360 hours of self study and will cost £300 with an initial fee of £150 with further monthly payments of £50 for the next three months.
Students may register at any time and have a full year to complete their studies. You also have access to a personal tutor by mail or email for a 12 month period. As the courses are self study you can complete in as little or as long a time as you prefer.
On successful completion of a course students will receive an accredited Certificate Award issued by NCFE. NCFE accreditation gives assurance that the content of a training course is of a high standard and meets the rigorous requirements of a national awarding organisation. NCFE is recognised as an Awarding Organisation by the qualification regulators (‘regulators’) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Welsh Government and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.
