Construction Industry Courses
Distance Learning Centre provide a selection of courses that are perfectly suited to those looking to begin learning about the construction industry.
To gain entry on these courses you must be over 16 years of age and be educated to at least D to G level at GCSE. If you have a GNVQ foundation certificate or an NVQ Level 1 qualification as well as internet access then you will also be eligible for the course.
All the courses are paper based and will be delivered to you within one to two working days. You will be required to undertake 180 hours of study time but you will have access to a personal tutor by mail or e-mail whilst studying.
The total cost of a construction industry course is £495 which is broken down into an initial payment of £240 with payments of £85 for the following three months.
On successful completion of these courses, students will receive a BTEC level 3 Advanced Certificate through Edexcel. This is a Level 3 Qualification, equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or A Level on the National Qualification Framework.
Edexcel registration fees are not included in the cost of the courses and you send your registration fee in within 28 days of enrolling on the course (Currently £80.00).
Please Note: The Edexcel fees are not included in the course fees as not all students wish to gain the Certification and registration fees are subject to change. The registration fee must be paid in full within 4 weeks of enrolling to study.
