The CIW Foundations Associate course prepares candidates to take the CIW Foundations exam, which, if passed, earns the individual the CIW Foundations Associate certification. However, some candidates may prefer to take any or all sections of the exam separately.
The home study course consists of the following Course books and candidates have two options for earning this certification:

Option 1: Pass one exam (1DO-510) that covers all three foundational disciplines.

Pre-Requirements:
The CIW Foundations Associate course is set out for beginners but we recommend a general knowledge of IT, computers and Internet/Email use.
Please Note: This course is not compatible with Apple Macs.
Course Duration & Support:
Students may register at any time. The home study course is designed as a self-study course but if you have any problems you can email our support team.
As the home study course is self study you can complete in as little or as long a time as you prefer, and we do not impose a cut-off date for study.

CIW Examinations:
On Completion of this curriculum, you can apply for the internationally recognised CIW 1D0-510 Examination, which are currently £90.00 + VAT. If you purchase an exam voucher with your course then this will cover the examination cost.
Exams must be sat at a registered Prometric or Pearson VUE testing centre. The exams consists of 85 multiple choice/multiple answer questions over 90 minutes and the passing score is 63%. |
