This programme is designed for people working in any industry sector wishing to gain an understanding of health and safety legislation and how to adopt good practice in the subject.

- Lesson Three - Management of Health & Safety at Work Regs
- Lesson Four – Risk Assessment
- Lesson Five - Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
- Lesson Six - Health and Safety Regulations 1992
- Lesson Seven - Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations
- Lesson Eight - Personal Protective Equipment Regulations
- Lesson Nine - Workplace (Health Safety and Welfare) Regulations
- Lesson Eleven - First Aid. An introduction
- Lesson Twelve – Accident Reporting
- Lesson Thirteen - Health & Safety Training
- Lesson Fourteen - Lifting Operations and Lifting Regulations
- Lesson Fifteen - Electricity at Work
- Lesson Sixteen - Hazardous Substances
Pre-Requirements:
There are no particular entry requirements.
Technical Support:
Once you have enrolled, you will have access to your own personal tutor by mail or email. You will receive full tutor support for a 12 month period.
Qualification:
The course consists of 16 modules with set assignments to complete. The qualification is gained from your coursework and there is no exam to complete. On completion of this course students will be awarded with the ASET Level 2 Certificate in Safety Compliance. This award is at an equivalent to GCSE or NVQ Level 2.
