The Combined Fiction Writing & Freelance Journalism - Level 3 Course contains both the Fiction Writing and Freelance Journalism Courses combined to gain one complete NCFE Award.
The Freelance Journalism Course is designed for anyone considering professional authoring for a variety of media including books, short stories, radio and television.
The aim of this self-study course is to provide a comprehensive guide to the skills and techniques of writing fiction successfully, and will enable students to study a variety of styles.
The home study courses also examine practical aspects of getting published plus the essential elements of both short stories and novels.

Course Duration:
Students may register at any time and have a full year to complete their studies. The home study courses will take approximately 140 hours of study to complete.
Pre-Requirements:
There are no particular entry requirements.
Technical Support:
Once you have enrolled, you will have access to your own personal tutor by mail or email. You will receive full tutor support for a 12 month period.
Certification:
The Certification is gained from your coursework so there is no exam to complete. On successful completion of these course materials students will be awarded with Freelance Journalism & Fiction Writing certificates of achievement by NCFE.
The courses measurable learning outcomes have been benchmarked at Level 3 (using Ofqual’s Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) level descriptors) to allow you to consider the depth of study, difficulty, and level of achievement involved.
