As any parent knows, the early years of a child’s life are absolutely crucial to that child’s future health and happiness. It’s also a well-known fact that ‘play’ is a vital component in the development of the child, and it is through play that children learn so many things about the world around them. Now thanks to this interesting and engaging home study, you could learn how to play an important part in the development of pre-school children.

Through the course you will gain important information and background knowledge regarding the development of the child. The course will also give you a wealth of ideas for activities that promote learning in the child.

Whether you are an acting childcare practitioner or simply a loving parent, this course is right for you. It will give you valuable help and advice on a range of activities designed to entertain children under the age of five. It’s fascinating but true that children learn more in their first few years than at any other time in their life. That’s why it is vital that the adults around them learn how to provide them with the opportunities and resources that feed their vivid imagination.

On successful completion of the course students will receive an accredited Level 2 Certificate Award and a Distance Learning Diploma.
