The MCAS (Microsoft Certified Application Specialist) Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 Course will help students to master Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. The course is ideal for beginners and takes users to an advanced level of proficiency. Designated as Approved Courseware for the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist program, this course will help students prepare for the PowerPoint 2007 exam (70-603).

This course book covers the basic functions and features of PowerPoint 2007. Students will create new presentations that include text, graphics, WordArt, tables, charts, and diagrams. They will also edit and format slide content, and apply transition effects. The course book comes with CertBlaster exam prep software (download) and a companion CBT program.

- PowerPoint 2007 Advanced:
This course book builds on the skills and concepts taught in PowerPoint 2007: Basic. Students will customize PowerPoint by modifying the Quick Access Toolbar and creating macros. They will also apply themes and templates, and they will work with SmartArt graphics and tables. Students will add multimedia content and interactive elements to slides, and they will learn about presentation distribution options including PDF and HTML. Finally, students will integrate PowerPoint with Word and Excel. The course book comes with CertBlaster exam prep software (download) and a companion CBT program.
The following topics are covered by this lesson: Custom presentation options; Graphic and multimedia content; Customising SmartArt graphics and tables; Action buttons and custom slide shows; Distributing a presentation; and Integrating Microsoft Office files.

On completion of the MCAS PowerPoint 2007 curriculum, you can apply for you’re the MCAS 70-603 Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 examination at any registered Certiport testing centre.
MCAS exams are roughly between £30.00 and £60.00 each depending on the test centre.
