The Course is Split into the Following 3 Sections:
In Introduction to Macromedia Flash MX, students will explore Flash MX's drawing, tweening, animation, and audio capabilities to build interactive content that will make a Web site come alive.
The following topics are covered by this lesson: Introduction to Macromedia Flash MX 2004, Flash Workspace, Using Solid Color and Gradient Fills, Working with Text, Using Layers, Importing Colors and Graphics, The Library and Symbols, Timelines, Animation, and Scenes, Motion Tweening, Shape Tweening, Masking, Movie Clip Symbols, Button Symbols, Actions, Sound, Publishing/Exporting the Flash Movie, Recommended Resources, Importing Artwork and Guidelines for Exporting Sound in Flash Movies.
Intermediate Macromedia Flash MX introduces students to the animation techniques and ActionScript programming you need to create attention-grabbing movies. Flash MX is capable of creating interactive movies as well as eye-catching animation. In this class, students will learn how to use ActionScript and other advanced techniques to build Flash MX movies that go beyond straightforward animation.
The following topics are covered by this lesson: Introduction: Intermediate Macromedia Flash MX, Movie Structure, ActionScript Fundamentals, The Flash Movie Clip Hierarchy, Controlling Animation Using with(),Using Path Notation to Target Movies, Movie Clip Properties, Variables and Conditionals, Controlling Audio Loops and Recommended Resources.
In Advanced Macromedia Flash MX students learn to create complex movies that can dynamically interact with user input. This class will build on a foundation of compound animations and move into full-featured interactive Web site design.
The following topics are covered by this lesson: Introduction: Advanced Macromedia Flash MX, ActionScript Review, Drop-Down Menus, Animated Drop Down Menus, Creating a Zoomable Map, Repeating Actions: Frame-Based Loops, Movie Preloader, The Movie Clip Object, ActionScript Functions, The Sound Object, Shopping Cart Basics, Drag and Drop Shopping Cart, Working with Forms, Debugging ActionScript and Recommended Resources.
