The MCSA Course consists of 4 individual MCP Courses and the home study courses are designed as theory-based courses but do contain all relevant information on how to complete practical exercises if you have the available equipment, software & resources available.
The MCSA Course will consist of the following MCSA Home Study Courses:
1 Core Operating System Course (You must select one of the following courses):
- 70-270 - Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional
70-620 - Windows Vista, Configuring
70-680 - Windows 7, Configuring
2 Core Networking Course (Both required)
70-290 – Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
70-291 – Implementing, Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
- 70-299 - Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network

Course Duration & Support:
Students may register at any time. The home study courses are designed as self-study courses but if you have any problems you can email our email support. As the course is self study you can complete in as little or as long a time as you prefer, and we do not impose a cut-off date for study.
Assessment would be 4 MCP Examinations. All Examinations are in a multiple choice/multiple answer format.Qualification:
On completion ofeach course you can apply for the appropriate Internationally Recognised MCP examinations at any registered Prometric testing centre.
The Microsoft examination fees are £99 + VAT each, and there will be 4 exams to complete (Please view the relevant CompTIA Course information for exam fees if you are selecting the Elective CompTIA option).
