Master CIW Designer certification can lead to a successful career as a Web designer, creative director, Web marketing/business specialist or art director.

Please Note: You must have passed your CIW Foundations 1D0-510 exam before you can do any of the CIW Master Designer exams. The CIW Foundations course is not included in the CIW Master Designer course package.

The Site Designer Course Books teaches students how to design and publish Web sites. General topics include Web Site Development Essentials (such as the site development process, customer expectations, and ethical and legal issues in Web development), Web Design Elements (such as aesthetics, the site user's experience, navigation, usability and accessibility), Basic Web Technologies (such as basic Hypertext Markup Language [HTML], Extensible HTML [XHTML] and extended technologies, image files, GUI site development applications, site publishing and maintenance) and Advanced Web Technologies (such as multimedia and plug-in technologies, client-side and server-side technologies, and Web databases).
The E-Commerce Designer Course Books teaches students how to conduct business online and manage the technical issues associated with constructing an e-commerce Web site. You will learn about the similarities and differences between traditional and electronic commerce, and will explore e-commerce technologies at various levels of sophistication. Students will implement a genuine transaction-enabled business-to-consumer Web site, examine strategies and products available for building electronic-commerce sites, examine how such sites are managed, and explore how they can complement an existing business infrastructure.
Both the CIW Site Designer and E-Commerce course books come with an additional Exam Study Guide which prepares you for the CIW Site Designer 1D0-520 and CIE E-Commerce 1D0-525 exams. These guides include exam overviews and information on how to take the exams, a table of all exam domains, objectives and sub-objectives, summarised content sections on what you need to know for the exam and sample exam questions.
The CIW Certification Practice Exams help measure proficiency on specific topics or the full range of CIW skills objectives. With nearly 700 mock exam questions for each exam, this powerful tool can be used to pre-assess certification aptitude, to prepare for the high-stakes exam environment, and to identify skills gaps and additional study needs.
