The Beauty Therapy - Level 2 Course is designed for anyone who has an interest in beauty therapy. You will learn about a range of skills, including hair and skin care. Just as importantly, however, you will be taught about the professional conduct required of people working in the beauty industry, including health & safety obligations and salon etiquette.

The course has been mapped against the National Occupational Standards for the Beauty industry set by habia. Work in the beauty industry is both interesting and varied. Job satisfaction is high. As a Beauty Therapist, you would usually work in a salon with other beauticians, hairdressers etc. Or you can, if you wish, decide to be your own boss and run a ‘mobile’ business, visiting your clients in their own homes. Whatever path you choose, it’s a job you’ll love doing, and you’ll make new friends too!

The great thing about the Beauty Therapist course is that you can study in your own time, at your own pace, from the comfort of home or from work. You will also have your own professional personal tutor offering full support by email and post.

On successful completion of the course students will receive an accredited Level 2 Certificate of Achievement.

Nail KitPlease Note: As this is a theoretical course it is recommended that students gain some hands on training in a salon or practice on friends and family. Students will receive a free manicure and pedicure kit which can be used for practice purposes.
