Prerequisites:

While there are no official prerequisites to take the MCSA certification, Microsoft strongly recommend that the candidate have a good knowledge of Windows Servers. We recommend completing the 70-710 Course and exam prior to completing this course.

Course Duration & Support:

Students may register at any time and have 12 months access to the course materials. This home study course is designed as a self-study course, but email support is available for the 12 month period. As the course is self-study you can complete in as little or as long a time as you prefer.

Assessment:

Assessment is in the form of the Microsoft 70-711 Administering Windows Server 2012 Examination. The examination has 40-60 questions over a 120 minute period. The questions are Single choice, multiple choice, drag-and-drop, active screen, build list, case studies, and short answer formats.

The Exams are graded on a scale of 100 – 1000, and all technical exams are scaled such that the passing score is 700.
